LAVC Ensembles and Class Concerts
Wind Ensemble – Monday, Dec. 2 @ 7:30pm at Porter Middle School
Join the Los Angeles Valley College Wind Ensemble for an enchanting performance conducted by Lori Musicant Kozubek, promising to infuse you with the joy of the season through a rich tapestry of winter-inspired melodies and cherished holiday tunes, both old and new.
Performance Workshop Concert – Tuesday, Dec. 3 @ 11:20am in Music Room 106 (Recital Hall)
A recital showcase featuring students in the Applied Music Program and Performance Workshop class.
Valley Symphony Orchestra – Wednesday, Dec. 4 @ 8:00pm in Music Room 106 (Recital Hall)
The Valley Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Mishkar Nunez-Fredell, will present a captivating concert of classical masterpieces featuring works by Beethoven.
Performance Workshop Concert – Tuesday, Dec. 5 @ 11:20am in Music Room 106 (Recital Hall)
A recital showcase featuring students in the Applied Music Program and Performance Workshop class.
Applied/Faculty Mentor Concert – Saturday, Dec. 7 @ 7:00pm in Music Room 106 (Recital Hall)
Applied music students who are completing the program will present a final recital, including performances in collaboration with music faculty.
LAVC Choirs – Sunday, Dec. 8 @ 7:00pm in Music Room 106 (Recital Hall)
The Chamber Singers and College Choir, under the direction of Prof. Glenn Carlos, will present a captivating concert of classical masterpieces and contemporary gems.
Broadway Class Showcase – Monday, Dec. 9 @ 7:00pm in Music Room 106 (Recital Hall)
Students in the Musical Theater Repertoire class, directed by Dr. Christian Nova, will present an evening of Broadway selections from a variety of shows, musical revues, and films. Reception immediately following the performance.
